Akin Inspection has been locally owned and operated since 1991.  Scott Akin was born and raised in Austin, Texas, in the historical landmark house at 506 Baylor Street adjacent to the Treaty Oak. Scott got his start in construction from his grandfather who was a builder and remodeling contractor.

Scott Akin has more than thirty years of experience as a licensed Professional Real Estate Inspector and has performed well over 9,500 inspections, which includes, pre-listing, pre-existing, new construction and light commercial. Scott has previously worked as an independent contractor for five years making repairs on pre-existing homes and VA foreclosures. You will be hiring Scott with his vast experience and wealth of knowledge to create a custom in-depth property inspection report that includes some of the smallest details.   

He ensures the most personal home inspection for his clients.  Whether a client has one or a dozen of questions, Scott will spend as much time as the client needs walking through the property and inspection report.
